Why do people usually hire a Coach?

People hire a coach because:

  • They want to make significant changes in their lives.
  • They want to cultivate their gifts and talents.
  • They want to advance their career.
  • They want to ensure success in a timely and realistic manner.

What immediate changes does a person usually experience when utilizing a coach?

They:

  • Take themselves more seriously.
  • Take more precise steps toward achieving their goals.
  • Are less likely to procrastinate.
  • Create momentum, so that it's easier to experience results.
  • They usually increase their energy and excitement level toward life and their desire to achieve.
  • Establish clearer goals.

Why does the coaching process work?

Coaching works for several reasons, some include:

  • Synergy between the coach and client creates momentum.
  • Clearer goals are set -- ones that naturally pull the client toward the goal rather than goals that require the client to push himself/herself to the goal.
  • The client develops new skills, and these skills translate into success.

Why is Coaching becoming so popular?

  • Many people are tired of doing what they think they "should" do and are ready to do something special and meaningful for the rest of their lives. One problem is that many can't see what this is or, if they can, they can't find a way to reorient their life around it. A coach can help them do both.
  • People are realizing how simple it can be to accomplish something that several years ago might have felt out of reach. A coach has a large tool kit to help the dream become reality. Many people today take time and resources to invest in themselves.
  • Spirituality. Many people are willing to look at, and consider, the notion of spirituality. Many coaches are spiritually based -- even the ones who coach in the corporate environment. Some define spirituality as the connection you have with yourself and others. The coach helps the client to tune in to themselves and others.

I am already doing well in my life, how can I benefit from a Coach?

You may not need a coach, however, it won’t hurt to find out.  Ask yourself these questions:

  • Am I doing what I enjoy doing?
  • Am I tolerating anything?
  • Is life easy for me?
  • Am I financially independent and/or will I be within the next 15 years?
  • Do I have what I want in life?
  • Am I where I want to be right now?

We've discovered that, often, people need to expect more out of their lives. A Coach can help in this process.
